At the heart of our funding and support is an emphasis on structural and long-term catalytic change. Barrow Cadbury Trust has three programmes – migration, criminal justice and economic justice as well as a social investment programme which works in a different way from the other three; one of our strategic objectives is to use all the Barrow Cadbury Trust’s assets for the advancement of social justice, including by means of a social investment portfolio and helping to develop and enhance the social investment marketplace.
The Barrow Cadbury Trust is committed to transparency and we work with 360Giving to publish information about our grants. We believe that with better information, grantmakers can be more effective and strategic decision makers. 360Giving provides support for grantmakers to publish their grants data openly, to understand their data, and to use the data to create online tools that make grant making more effective.
