Early Action Task Force launches ‘The Deciding Time’

Today sees the launch of ‘The Deciding Time,’ a major new report by the Early Action Task Force, run by Community Links, which identifies the key obstacles to early action and calls for strategic investment to secure long-term public savings.

The report highlights the inadequacy of isolated initiatives and articulates the need for systemic reform to better unleash the ‘triple dividend’: thriving lives, costing less and contributing more.

Advocating better information on long-term costs and savings, ‘The Deciding Time,’ makes a compelling case for treating early action as an investment rather than a financial burden.

Debbie Pippard, Head of Programmes at the Barrow Cadbury Trust, is a member of the Task Force, which in November 2011 issued its first publication, ‘The Triple Dividend’.
