Poverty and Inclusion Programme
Traditionally, the Barrow Cadbury Trust has had a strong focus on funding grassroots groups that are working to combat poverty and inequality. The new ‘Poverty and Inclusion’ funding programme continues this and encourages groups to be creative and responsive in tackling these issues. As well as supporting grassroots projects we want to use this learning to help shift the focus of debate on to ways in which inequality and poverty can be tackled productively and collaboratively.
There are three grant programmes under ‘Poverty and Inclusion’:

You can only apply for this programme if your project is based in the West Midlands.
The Trust is currently reviewing our previous work around gender issues, specifically supporting a range of women’s projects. The website will be updated with our findings later in the year.
